NEBOSH GENERAL CERTIFICATE

 

A formal qualification for those with prime responsibility in the workplace and for those wishing to take the first step in becoming a Chartered Safety Practitioner via membership of The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

 

The course is offered on a day-release basis and the training is supported by extensive reference material and exercises.

 

To achieve the award candidates will sit a 3 part examination:

 

Two written examinations

 

NGC1 - Management of Health and Safety

 

NGC2 - Identifying and Controlling Hazards

 

Followed by a Practical Examination where candidates will inspect a live working environment and produce a report for management including conclusions and recommendations
