Ken Johnson CMIOSH
Ken has over 30 years experience in health and safety, training and human resource development. As a printing compositor, he rose from shop floor to senior management before being invited to join the Printing and Publishing Industry Training Board. As a Senior Training Adviser, Ken acted in that role and as a management consultant for some 70 companies. He also had prime responsibility for advising on and auditing training in the national newspapers in Fleet Street. Leaving the PPITB, he set up his own training company, which eventually employed some 120 staff delivering training to National Standards. As an accomplished lecturer, he developed the first joint health and safety in printing course for managers and trade union representatives in 1974. Ken specialises in training having designed and run courses and workshops for many blue chip companies.
